New Pioneer Controllers
Pioneer have announced some controllers!
One for Traktor, and one for Serato Itch. Here is the Traktor version... DDJ-T1 ![]() Supposed rrp price of £899 or 1099euro More info here... http://www.pioneerdjusa.com/gear.asp...ct=DDJ-T1&cp=3 http://www.pioneerdjusa.com/images/g...ers/ddj-t1.jpg And here is the Serato Itch version... DDJ-S1 ![]() Supposed rrp price €1299 or £1099 More info here... http://www.pioneerdjusa.com/gear.asp...ct=DDJ-S1&cp=3 http://www.pioneerdjusa.com/images/g...-S1_LowRes.pdf They are both designed to perfectly integrate with their respective softwares, and both do have different specs and prices. More detailed round up of both can be found here... http://www.skratchworx.com/news3/comments.php?id=1611 I think personally i would rather spend that sort of money on a kiss arse mixer, or the NI S4 controller, or Denon DNMC-6000. But if you like pioneer gear then they may be worth a look! I do like the fact you can slide your laptop keyboard underneath these and hide it. And i do prefer the looks of the itch version better. What do you guys think?! |

Re: New Pioneer Controllers
Eventually they may replace cdjs but not for a long time (look how long the handover from vinyl to cds took in most clubs).
I welcome more controllers and dvs type systems as I can never be arsed burning loads of cds for djing with... I now only burn them for djing away from my home, as most setups are cdjs. |

Re: New Pioneer Controllers
Imagine you could have a system where all your files are saved online and you just browse to them with your mixer. all your music everywhere you go. That would be good

100% tits :PPPP
I believe software is the future; these baybays are the future. Its only a matter of time. I only wish they made more software like Mixmeister, way underrated :S |

The digital DJing in general will defiantly take over but I doubt there will ever be an industry standard controller, as when one controller becomes popular, another bigger (or smaller), better and evolutionary controller will be released. |
