Wow! I have no clue about DJing (never even tried as I leave that to the pros) but I think you're idea is truly awesome! Good luck to you!
It reminds me of the time when everybody was sending their mix to Chris in order to get his opinion: for a Trance lover, there were times when he had to listen to some bunch of crap from Armin-wannabees but I guess we all need to start somewhere...
But dont you worry: I wont send you anything! I dont have the pretention nor the ambition! I'll just keep listening to others' work

hey LC. can we have some slower prog/uplifting/tech at the start of a set and work up towards the uplifting trance later on in the set. I like to progress my sets along rather than just one style throught out the whole set

I'd have to hear how it sounds. These are supposed to be uplifting sets only, otherwise it'd just be the Trance Community DJ contest.

You can do it how you want. It's all about how it sounds in the end. Just don't throw in a ton of sound effects and you'll probably be fine.

Just to throw this out there, uplifting doesn't have to be high energy. We're just going for "feel good" trance; stuff that brightens your day.

I'm sorry but I can not attend, I am not a DJ and I don't have vinyls of any musical genre, even trance and being the old school (the DJ should use the vinyl) I could not even wanting to participate.:o

Hey LC so what's the max amount of time we can make our set? Should everyone just try to keep it at an hour? Just asking cus my set comes out to about 1 hour 15 min, i can cut two tracks out if i have to
