My name's Manuel Leiria, I'm portuguese, and I'm trying to understand how to produce digital music.

I came across this website while looking for some vsts, and I instantly fell in love with it. I'm currently charging my way through FL studio, which I have been using ocasionally for the last 2 years. I finally think it's time to step forward and actually start producing some things.

From what I understood, this seems like a great community, with lots of helpful folks around and people who truly love music and trance, which I do as well. So here's to a good start and future colabs. :thumbup1:

Hi, I'm from the UK my artist name is 'Audio Terrorist' (obviously) I'm 26 and have been making music using various programs for about 10 years now.

I've settled with FL Studio. I know a lot of people seem to think that it is an ameateur's tool but I've never come across something that I could do in any other program but not FL Studio.

I started out making UK/Happy Hardcore as that's what I was really into when i was in my teens. Now I'm getting older, I'm prefering basslines and breakbeats. I find it hard to get away from the cheeseyness of happy hardcore though and it shows through on a lot of my stuff.

When I'm making music, I try not to stick to a particular genre, I like to think that my productions are of an original style.

I work full time and have a 5 year old son and wife so I don't get as much 'production time' as I would like but I produce when I get the chance.

I'm not looking for contracts or money. It's a bit of a cliche but I really do make music for the love of the art.
