Rapidshare in decline?

I never see any rapidshare links anymore since they changed their system.

Any site i go to for scene releases or anything always has hotfile, uploaded.to, letitbit etc... never rapidshare! Im pissed off as ive got 400 more rapids but no links to use em on!

Forget about Rapidshare it is dead now.I have 1568 rapid points so you are lucky you only have 400 points.

Go to filestube type in almost any tune you want and it should be there for rapid aswell

Nothing new at all, obviously previously uploaded stuff is there but any new releases arent on rapidshare no more theres loads of links for letitbit and that site is shit!

It dose do new stuff still mate i got alot of stuff today thats just been released today and they are all rapid but i must admit most of the new stuff i wanted was all hotfile but there are some new ones on there , Please can you tell me of any sites that are good then mate coz iv always used filestube dont really no of any others cheers

Yeah what the 'can only be downloaded 10 times' shit, thats rubbish. I dont know what other one to sign up for really, as its pretty well spread atm, new ones i havent heard of seem to crop up a lot now like Extabit and fileserve.

Filecatch - good for rapidshare older releases
Electropeople.org - all new scene stuff
Freakenergy.ru - similar to the above

Steer clear of these though:

R.I.P. Rapidshare

Problem is with all the rapidpoints, trafficshare and credit I had, I've come out of it with over 3 years of credit left

But saying that, I always brought most of my tunes and still can get movies, programs, games so I not to worried at the moment.

But I sure within a year it'll all change again

I think Hotfile is the next big thing

They pay a lot of money to people who share on it

plus they have unlimited downloads and cheaper account

I tested it out for a month a while ago, good speeds plenty of files no complaints, definitely on my short list if I change over.

Yeah i used hotfile once when i found a website that had tons of stuff i was after, it was ok decent speeds and plenty of links. Now i guess its even better!

What do rapid points actually do?
I subscribed for a month and I don't remember how many I got but they got deleted after a while.

You get 400 rapids for 5 euros. For 30 days worth of downloading and a total of 35gb or something like that it costs you 99 rapids. So basically its like getting 4 months worth of premium for 5 euros so its brilliant for downloaders but it isnt so good for uploaders now i hear!

I don't think its bad for uploaders as people make out, (there is better of course).

If you go to settings and tick keep files for ever option, you basically got 10 GB worth of space go over this and you gotta pay a bit extra.

You will only be charged for additional storage if you activate the keep files forever option.

If the keep files for ever option is unticked this means that if users exceed their storage volume, files that have not been downloaded for 60 days will automatically be deleted but you can upload as much as you want
